The Albany Regional Eye Surgery Center is a Medicare approved facility, accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Healthcare, Inc., (AAAHC). Medicare currently covers 80% of the facility charges for our patients. The balance remaining is the patient’s responsibility. If you have supplemental insurance, it generally covers this amount. The Albany Regional Eye Surgery Center accepts many commercial insurance plans. Plan benefits vary and claims are processed according to each plan’s guidelines.
